Initial Ideas

Locations
We are going to film our product at school, simply because it’s convenient. Laura and I discussed filming it in the design workshop with all the machines on to help give it a genre of horror to make it more interesting with a narrative. We didn’t follow through with this because we would have needed to ask others to act for us as male actors would have been better for the horror we wanted to create. We also would have had to work to an extremely tight schedule because we’d need the room when no one else was in there. Using the machines would have been seen as a health and safety hazard, so we thought using the media room was a better option.

Equipment
-Camera
-Tripod

Personnel
Originally, I was going to be filming our product and Laura was going to be directing it. Our actors we’re going to be Charlie and Danni, who both do drama. As the aim of the task was to include match on action, the 180° rule and shot/reverse shot we thought that location and actors weren’t our priorities. I will now be the actress, walking into the classroom, being late for a lesson and having the teacher tell me off.

Roles and responsibilities
I will be in the product with Miss Dunn and Laura will film it.

Dates and Times
The next lesson we have, we will film our product. This will be convenient for us and for Miss Dunn and the cameras and tripods will be spare for us.
